Confessions of an Erotic Blogger!

Hey guys!

Check it out, I'm famous! I was asked to write something about keeping yourself anonymous on the internet for the website techburgh.com. You can read it by clicking here.

I don't know what it is, but I feel like a celebrity now. Even though I post here all the time, there's something different about seeing your stuff on another website. It's like when the teacher asks you to read your essay about your summer vacation to the whole class because it was the best one. That's what it feels like! LOL

I hate to be a pessimist, but have you planned how you will respond if you are "outed" someday? True anonymity is hard to maintain and it seems possible that sooner or later your secret might slip. Whether an obsessed nut does it for you, a friend turns on you, or just some unlucky happenstance strikes, have you given any thought to how you'd handle it?

I have a question.

Did you Wikilink the whole article or was that the site?

Dear jerk,
I've been dealing with stalkers and other overzealous customers for years, so I'm not too worried about it right now. But if it happens, at least I can still delete whatever they say on these pages.

Dear Greg,
I think you just have to click on the word "here" and it'll take you directly to the article.

Dear Jenny,
Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Umm...Thanks?

Now....did you link the things in the article to Wikipedia or did the site do that?

Now just a month ago or so I said you should definitely consider writing a book - and you shushed me! Just have to say I told you so... There's a reason techburgh sought you out for a column. For real, girl. And as for your thoughts on where to sell it, lots of bookstores would have no problem carrying it, big bookstores like... barnes & noble.

Seriously, think about it!

I just wrote the article. The Techburgh guy added the links and stuff. I didn't even know what they were until I clicked on them either! Sorry - I think I totally misunderstood your question. I'm so internet dumb it's not funny.

Christopher
Sweet idea! I was in B&N yesterday Xmas shopping and all I saw were books about vampires. I should do a freak of the week about vampires just to make me more marketable! LOL

Congrats on the write up. Yeah it looks good!

I am a newbie blogger to you. I read some of your previous posts and found them fascinating. I think you may have picked up a new fan.
